The 2009 summer had a basketball theme and was jam-packed with events and excitement.. Highlights included:

• Private luncheon with Judge Lawrence Walsh at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club (with each student receiving a signed copy of Judge Walsh's biography)
• Guided tour of the Western District of Oklahoma federal courthouse 
• Summer Associates vs. Attorneys Softball Game followed by a BBQ dinner at a director's home
• A back-yard party at a director's home with a live band, back-yard games and canoe rides
• 80's themed Associate party
• Attendance at live tapings of "The Verdict" television show with Mayor Mick Cornett and Kent Meyers, followed by lunch with the Mayor
• Thunder basketball game in the Firm's suite
• Associates v. Summer Associates Basketball game
• Road trip to the historic Eischen's Restaurant in Okarche (famous for its fried chicken)
• Final dinners at Kam's Kookery and Red Prime Steakhouse
