Crowe & Dunlevy recently announced Andre’ B. Caldwell, Jordan K. Field, Donald K. Shandy and Evan G.E. Vincent have been named directors.

Caldwell is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial and Criminal Defense, Compliance & Investigations Practice Groups in Oklahoma City. He represents private and public companies in all aspects of commercial litigation, preparing criminal compliance guidelines and conducting corporate criminal risk assessments. Caldwell served as an assistant U.S. attorney at the Western District of Oklahoma U.S. Attorney’s Office assigned to the Violent Crimes/Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force where he received an FBI Director’s award for his outstanding prosecutorial skills. Caldwell received his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and government from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
A member of the firm’s Taxation Practice Group, as well as the Aviation & Commercial Space, Corporate & Securities, Employee Benefits & ERISA, Healthcare, Nonprofit/Charitable Foundations and Private Wealth & Closely-Held Business Practice Groups, Field is in the firm’s Oklahoma City office. His tax practice includes both tax planning and tax controversy matters relating to federal and state income taxes for entities and individuals, as well as estate and gift tax planning and tax-exempt entity matters. Particular areas of focus include partnership taxation, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and aviation tax issues. Field received an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU Law School where he was a graduate editor of the Tax Law Review and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. He also holds an Honors degree in finance from Oklahoma State University with a minor in accounting.
Shandy is a member of the firm’s Energy, Environment & Natural Resources and Litigation & Trial Practice Groups in Oklahoma City. He has worked on projects in 41 states and interacted closely with numerous federal agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency. During the Clinton administration, Shandy worked extensively with White House administrators regarding global climate change. He has represented a number of electric generation and natural gas clients before public utility commissions. Shandy recently negotiated settlements totaling $70 million on behalf of the City of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Kay County, Oklahoma related to environmental contamination encompassing soil, groundwater and visible smelter issues. Shandy earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law as well as his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Vincent’s practice focuses on litigation of complex and challenging legal matters at both the trial and appellate levels and involves representing clients in a wide variety of industries. He is a member of the firm’s Antitrust, Appellate, Construction, Energy, Environment & Natural Resources, Intellectual Property, Litigation & Trial and Product Liability Practice Groups in Oklahoma City. He has served as lead counsel for jury and arbitration trials and in both state and federal court appeals. Vincent received his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his bachelor’s in aerospace engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
