Distinguished and honored in his field of law, Allen D. Evans serves as an advisory director in the Firm’s Oklahoma City office. With over 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Evans focuses his practice in trusts and estates and tax. His extensive knowledge is reflected in his lectures at various institutions on estate planning and estate administration.

An active member of the legal community, Mr. Evans is a member of the Oklahoma and American Bar Associations, as well as the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Additionally, he served as former regent and former state chairman of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, is the former chairman of the Lawyer’s Tax Group, and is a former president of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council.

Various honors have been bestowed upon Mr. Evans. For example, he is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, and the Oklahoma and American Bar Foundations. Mr. Evans was also listed in The Best Lawyers in America for trusts and estates.

In addition, Mr. Evans is a trustee and chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Oklahoma United Methodist Foundation. He is a member of the board of directors and is a former president for the Arts Council of Oklahoma City, as well as the former Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Orthopedic and Arthritis Foundation, Inc. Scholastically, he served as the former president of the University of Oklahoma Alumni Association, and is the former president of the Board of Trustees at Heritage Hall School.

Mr. Evans attended the University of Oklahoma for his undergraduate education, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1960. He continued his education at the University of Michigan Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1963
