Daniel P. Johnson is an associate in the Firm’s Oklahoma City office. He received his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2002, and his J.D. degree, with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2005. While attending law school, he was a William T. Comfort Scholar, and served as Note Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. Mr. Johnson also served as a member of the Dean’s Council and Vice President of the Class of 2005.

In addition to receiving Academic Achievement Awards in Constitutional Law, Legal Research & Writing, Criminal Law, and Employment law, Mr. Johnson was the recipient of the Salem Civil Rights Award for his paper entitled: “Genetic Discrimination in Employment: Is Oklahoma’s New Law a Good Idea?” Mr. Johnson has published “Desert Palace, Inc. v. Costa: Returning to Title VII’s Core Principles by Eliminating the Direct Evidence Requirement in Mixed Motive Cases,” 57 Okla. L. Rev. 403, Issue 2; Summer 2004.

Mr. Johnson’s areas of practice include litigation and labor and employment law.
