
Douglas S. Tripp is a director with Crowe & Dunlevy in the Oklahoma City office where he is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Transactions and Financial Institutions practice group. Mr. Tripp’s primary area of practice involves the negotiation and structuring of agreements relating to business process and information technology outsourcing. Mr. Tripp actively represents clients in a wide range of outsourcing matters, includingHR/employee care services, customer care, finance and accounting, help desk, training and recruitment, and contact center services. In addition, Mr. Tripp has significant experience relating to information management technologies, hardware and software licensing, technology acquisition, software maintenance and support, and technology company/product acquisition.
In addition to his outsourcing practice, Mr. Tripp's practice includes consumer and commercial finance law, bankruptcy, collections and related litigation, and he regularly represents a wide variety of financial institutions and consumer financial services companies in the structuring and documentation of financing transactions and general consumer regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Crowe & Dunlevy, Mr. Tripp served as corporate counsel for U.S. Bank, where he was responsible for workouts, bankruptcy, collections and consumer regulatory matters. Mr. Tripp has also practiced with the Columbus Ohio-based firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, where he was a member of the commercial/real estate and intellectual property practice groups, and with the Cincinnati Ohio-based firm of Frost Brown Todd LLC, serving as chair of the firm's financial restructuring practice group.
Mr. Tripp received his B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1980 from Eastern Michigan University and his J.D. in 1985 from University of Tulsa, and is a member of the Oklahoma, Ohio and American Bar Associations, ACA International, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals.
