
Ms. Majid is an accomplished immigration lawyer and Director at Crowe & Dunlevy. She has extensive experience in directing the provision of high-quality legal and consulting services for private and public organizations.
Ms. Majid is an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. At SHRM, she serves as a special expert on SHRM’s Workplace Diversity Panel. Ms. Majid also serves as the Crowe & Dunlevy representative for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Immigration Policy Committee.
She directed the State of Georgia’s Refugee Resettlement and U.S. Citizen Repatriation Programs. Ms. Majid also served as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center. In October 2000, she was awarded the prestigious Meritorious Public Service Award from the Director of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review, which was presented by then-Attorney General Janet Reno, in recognition of her “tireless and distinguished pro bono efforts on behalf of unrepresented aliens detained by the … Immigration and Naturalization Service.”
Ms. Majid earned her law degree from Temple University School of Law, a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Landscape Architecture and Agriculture from Oklahoma State University. Ms. Majid is admitted to practice in Maryland, and her practice is exclusively in the area of Immigration and Nationality Law.
