Accomplished and respected, Mary Robertson is a shareholder and director in the Norman office. Her practice primarily focuses on ERISA and employee benefits, insurance, and labor and employment laws. Her expertise ranges from litigation involving insurance matters to personnel law.
Named as one of Best Laywers – Commercial Litigation, Ms. Robertson is currently a member of the American Bar Association, as well as the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. She served as an Associate Bar Examiner from 1988 through 2003. A frequent lecturer, Ms. Robertson most recently presented “Bad Faith from the Defense Perspective” in 2007 and 2008 for the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Her success is highlighted in published opinions of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma cases of In re: State Question No. 726, Initiative Petition 379; Oklahoma State Board of Equalization v. Milton C. Craig, the Estate of Flowers v. Clinkingbeard; the Court of Appeals of Oklahoma cases of Keystone Equipment Company v. International Fidelity Insurance Company and BancOklahoma Mortgage Corp. v. Hysell and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Milburn v. Life Investors.
Ms. Robertson received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Methodist University, where she graduated with President’s Honor Role and Dean’s Honor Role. Graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, she was involved with the Oklahoma Law Review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
