Matthew B. Hickey serves as an associate at the firm's Oklahoma City office.  His practice focuses on taxation, trusts and estates, and corporation and securities law. 
 
Mr. Hickey graduated with his Juris Doctorate with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2007.  Mr. Hickey made the Dean’s List all six semesters and served as editor-in-chief of the Oklahoma Law Review (2006-2007).  His article, “Oklahoma Advance Directive Act, 63 Okla. Stat 3101: Denying Choice to Those Who Cannot Choose – A Proposal for Legislative and Practical Alternatives,” was published in the Oklahoma Law Review in 2006. 
 
Mr. Hickey won Am Jur awards for legal research and writing; criminal law; contracts; wealth-transfer tax; wills and trusts; estate planning; and corporate tax.  He was also a member of the Order of the Coif, a prestigious academic society.
 
Before attending law school, Mr. Hickey earned his B.A. in Bible and Theology from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill., in May 2003.
 
Prior to joining Crowe & Dunlevy, Mr. Hickey worked as a legal clerk at McAlister, McAlister, McKinnis, & Tuggle P.C. and Midfirst Bank.
