Crowe & Dunlevy lawyers D. Kent Meyers, Roger A. Stong, Jennifer A. Dutton and Jonathan D. Echols are representing a diverse group of Oklahoma business and civic leaders in a challenge to Initiative Petition No. 726. The initiative petition purposes a so-called "Taxpayer Bill of Rights," which has been widely criticized by business and other groups.

Crowe & Dunlevy has represented proponents and protestants in initiative petitions matters for decades.  The firm has been active in statewide initiative petitions on cockfighting, congressional redistricting, education reform, the lottery, liquor by the drink, pari-mutuel betting, right to work and tax reform, as well as statewide efforts directed at tort reform and workers' compensation reform, and local initiative petitions, including the sales tax increase for the Oklahoma City zoo.
