Crowe & Dunlevy recently announced Andre' B. Caldwell has joined the firm as an associate in the litigation and trial practice group in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.
“We are pleased to have Andre' join our firm,” said Kevin Gordon, president of Crowe & Dunlevy. “We worked with him as a summer associate years ago, and it is great to welcome him back.”
Prior to joining Crowe & Dunlevy, Caldwell gained experience at the Western District of Oklahoma U.S. Attorney’s Office as an Assistant U.S. Attorney assigned to the Violent Crimes/Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. As a member of the VC/OCDETF team, he coordinated investigations and prosecuted cases involving firearm and narcotics violations, criminal gang activity and matters of domestic terrorism and national security. While working there, Caldwell was also involved in the Project Safe Neighborhood program aimed at instructing state and local law enforcement on prosecution of federal firearms violations and the C.A.R.E. drug program aimed at helping high-risk federal offenders successfully complete supervised release. During his tenure at the U.S. Attorney's, office he received a Director's Award for Excellence from Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Robert Mueller.
Prior to being an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Caldwell served as a law clerk and extern at the Western District of Oklahoma U.S. District Court for Judge Robin J. Cauthron, and he participated as a summer associate in Crowe & Dunlevy’s Tulsa office.
Caldwell received his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he received the Just Desserts Award, awarded to one student who made the college a better place. He has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and government from Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.
