Crowe & Dunlevy director Gayle Barrett was recently presented with the 2010 Excellence in Human Resource Management award from the Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management.

The award is presented annually at the 2010 State Human Resources Conference to recognize and honor an individual who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of human resource management.
Criteria for the award includes building and sustaining partnerships with human resource professionals, media, governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions, providing a community for those entities to share expertise and create innovative solutions, proactively providing thought leadership, education and research to those groups and serving as an advocate to ensure that policy makers, lawmakers and regulators are aware of key concerns facing organizations and the human resource profession.
Barrett currently serves as chairman of Crowe & Dunlevy’s Labor and Employment Law Section. Her practice includes representation of management in employment and labor law matters. She is listed in the Best Lawyers in America in Labor & Employment Law and as one of the Top 25 Women Lawyers by Super Lawyers.
