Crowe & Dunlevy Director Selected as Gen Counsel for OK State Council for Human Resources
OKLAHOMA CITY – Crowe & Dunlevy today announced that Director Gayle Barrett has been selected as General Counsel to the Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management, an organization established to further the work of human resource professionals in Oklahoma.
In her new position, Barrett will provide general corporate counsel and legal advice necessary for the operation of the organization.
“We are proud of Gayle’s appointment as General Counsel and her continued involvement in the community,” said Crowe & Dunlevy President Brooke Murphy. “She is an outstanding member of this organization and I know she will bring much value to the State Human Resources Council.”
At Crowe & Dunlevy, Barrett represents management in employment related matters such as employment litigation in state and federal court, as well as in charges of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Oklahoma Human Rights Commission. Since 2003, Barrett also has been the General Counsel for the Oklahoma City Human Resource Society.
