OKLAHOMA CITY – Crowe & Dunlevy today announced the addition of Jasmine Majid as a director of the firm. Majid practices primarily in the area of immigration.
“We are pleased that Jasmine has joined our firm,” said Brooke Murphy, president of Crowe & Dunlevy. “Her immigration experience will be an asset not only to our firm and Oklahoma-based clients, but to regional and national clients as well.”
Prior to joining the firm, Majid served as a managing director for Chisam-Majid Immigration Law & Policy where she managed strategic business development and management for a federal legal practice concentrating on immigration and nationality law.
Majid is a member of the American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Associations and American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management where she serves as a Special Expert Member specializing in workplace diversity. In addition, Majid serves as the Crowe & Dunlevy representative for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Immigration Policy Committee.
Majid has received the Meritorious Public Service Award from the Department of Justice, Executive Office of Immigration Review. She has appeared on CNN, NBC and other media outlets regarding refugee and immigration law issues.
Majid is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (B.A., 1984). She earned her master’s degree from Drexel University (M.S., 1995) and her Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law (1995).
Majid will be based in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.
