OKLAHOMA CITY – Crowe & Dunlevy has re-elected Roger A. Stong president and named its 2011 Executive Committee. Stong, who joined the firm in 1985 and was first elected president in April 2008, is leading Crowe & Dunlevy for the fourth consecutive year.
Selected to serve on the firm's Executive Committee are new additions Robert G. McCampbell and Timila S. Rother, as well as returning members Kevin D. Gordon and Randall J. Snapp.
Stong, who also chairs the firm’s business department and corporate and securities practice group, is an experienced business lawyer. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in corporate governance and compliance, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities and venture capital law. Stong serves as a director of the State Chamber of Oklahoma, as well as the Oklahoma reporter for the State Limited Liability Company and Partnership Laws.
McCampbell is a director with the firm. Prior to rejoining Crowe & Dunlevy in September 2005, he served as United States attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma from 2001 to 2005. As U.S. attorney, McCampbell was particularly active as a courtroom prosecutor and successfully tried several cases including trials for securities fraud, illegal internet drug prescriptions by a physician, homicide and child prostitution. He is also an experienced civil trial lawyer. In 2009, he was elected as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Rother is a director in the firm's Oklahoma City office. Her experience ranges from litigation in class action, insurance, business, and health care litigation cases to appellate work. She also has experience in ethics and legal malpractice cases and is loss prevention and claims counsel for the firm. She is a frequent lecturer on ethics, insurance, health care and motion practice topics. Rother serves as co-chair of the American Bar Association Professional Liability Litigation Subcommittee for Attorneys' Loss Prevention & Ethics. She is a member of the Oklahoma Legal Ethics Advisory Panel and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America for Insurance Law.
Gordon chairs the firm’s health care litigation practice group and co-chairs the insurance and employee benefits & ERISA practice group. He concentrates his practice on health care litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation and administrative law. Gordon is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in health care law. He serves on the United States Chamber of Commerce's Employee Benefits Committee and is immediate past chair of the American Health Lawyers Association’s Payors, Plans & Managed Care Practice Group. Gordon has also served on the board of Youth Services for Oklahoma County for 25 years.
Snapp is a director in the firm's Tulsa office and chairs the firm's labor and employment practice group. His practice includes counseling and litigation involving a full range of employment issues, and he is a former president of the Employment Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Snapp is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in employment law and is a frequent lecturer and instructor on employment law subjects. Snapp is a board member of the Diocese of Tulsa Catholic Charities, is on the executive board for the Indian Nations Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is an advisory director of the Tulsa Ballet.
