Crowe & Dunlevy Announces New Paralegal Hire, Promotion

OKLAHOMA CITY – Crowe & Dunlevy recently announced that Marlena Mendez has been hired as a paralegal and Laurie Sterling has been promoted to paralegal. Both Mendez and Sterling work in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.
“We are delighted to add such skilled and experienced paralegals to our Crowe & Dunlevy family,” said Mark Grossman, paralegal committee co-chairperson.
Prior to joining Crowe & Dunlevy, Mendez worked as a paralegal in Phoenix, Ariz., focusing on commercial litigation and labor and employment law. Mendez earned a Master of Education in social sciences and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Okla. Additionally, she holds a Paralegal Certificate from Phoenix Community College.
Sterling has held a legal secretary position at Crowe & Dunlevy since 2007 prior to her promotion. Prior to Crowe & Dunlevy, Sterling worked as a legal assistant and tax consultant. She holds a master’s degree in criminal justice administration and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Ashwood University in Sarasota, Fla. She obtained her Legal Assistant/Paralegal Certificate from City College in Norman, Okla.
