Crowe & Dunlevy attorney Leonard Court presented a program on how to properly administer and document employee evaluations and discipline during a session at the Society of Human Resource Management annual conference and exposition in Las Vegas June 26 – 29. This is the largest conference of human resources specialist in the United States. The conference addressed the professional development needs of businesses through courses and workshops.
Court’s session illustrated the best methods for implementing employee evaluations and documentation and what happens in a trial when proper documentation has not been completed.
Court received his Juris Doctor from Harvard University. He joined Crowe & Dunlevy in 1972 and served as chairman of the firm’s labor and employment practice group from 1981 until 2008. Court is one of only two practicing Oklahoma attorneys to be inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
