OKLAHOMA CITY – The American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA) recently named Crowe & Dunlevy attorney Robert Johnson as a Lifetime Fellow. The honor recognizes his contributions to the organization and the real estate practice. The presentation took place during the organization’s annual meeting in October.

“Members of this organization represent the best of the best nationwide in the mortgage law industry,” said Crowe & Dunlevy President Roger Stong. “We are very proud that Bob has been named a lifetime fellow. This prestigious honor illustrates his extensive contributions to ACMA and the field of mortgage law as a whole.”

Johnson serves as of counsel for Crowe & Dunlevy in the firm’s Oklahoma City office. He brings to the firm four decades of real estate practitioner experience. Johnson has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for real estate law, Who’s Who in Real Estate and Who’s Who in the World.

He previously served as President and is a current member of the Board of Regents for ACMA.

Formed in 1974, ACMA represents more than 400 lawyers in North America who are experts in the mortgage law industry. Members share a commitment to giving back to their industry, improving and reforming laws and procedures affecting real estate financing transactions and raising the level of professional responsibility of lawyers practicing in this area.

Fellows have distinguished themselves as practitioners in the field of real estate mortgages through their bar association activities, lecturing, authoring articles and program materials, participation in the legislative process and writing briefs and/or arguing cases that are significant to mortgage transactions.
