The Oklahoma City Metropolitan Employer Council recently named Crowe & Dunlevy director Adam W. Childers to its board of directors.
“I am happy to congratulate Adam on his new position and look forward to what he will bring to the board,” said Kevin Gordon, president of Crowe & Dunlevy. “Our attorneys value giving back, and this is one more opportunity to contribute to the communities we serve.”
The OKC Metro Employer Council is a cooperative educational effort of the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, Workforce Oklahoma partners and Oklahoma City-area human resource professionals.
“The Oklahoma City Metro Employer Council Executive Board is very excited about the addition of Adam to our team,” said Chade Nash, Oklahoma City Metro Employer Council chair. “His enthusiasm for Oklahoma City and our business community paired with his expertise make him a most valuable member. We look forward to his contributions. Collectively, we will work hard to achieve greater success to be enjoyed by our business friends.”
In addition to his practice, Childers is a co-chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group and serves as an administrative law judge at the Oklahoma Department of Labor. In addition, Childers is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Order of the Barristers, the Board of Visitors for the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals.
Childers was selected as a member of the Journal Record’s “Achievers Under 40-Class VI” and was also recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” for multiple years. Childers received both his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Oklahoma.
