Leonard Court honored for outstanding achievement in human resource management
The Oklahoma Human Resource State Council recently presented Crowe & Dunlevy attorney Leonard Court with the 2015 Excellence in Human Resource Management award.
The award signifies a professional who demonstrates the organization’s mission of serving the human resource professional and advancing the profession. Recipients are role models for the profession who share their professional expertise and leadership both within and outside the organization. Fellow Crowe & Dunlevy attorney Gayle L. Barrett is also a former award recipient.
Colleague Tanya Bryant included in Court’s nomination, “Leonard is a pioneer in the field of labor and employment law defense in Oklahoma and the key to growing the Labor & Employment practice group at Crowe & Dunlevy. He is a proactive mentor and continues to be the heart and soul of the practice group. Without his leadership and vision, those he taught would not now be in the position to lead.”
Court, the founding member of Crowe & Dunlevy's Labor & Employment practice group, provides legal representation for management in all areas of labor and employment law. He regularly presents to professional organizations regarding legal developments and new federal requirements. Court has been an essential member of the firm since graduating from Harvard Law School in 1972, not including the four years he served as a U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General in the mid-1970s.
