Mark Christiansen, attorney at Crowe & Dunlevy, recently spoke at the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) in San Francisco, and at the 3rd Annual Law of Oil and Gas Shale Plays Conference in Fort Worth, Texas, sponsored by the Dallas-based Center for American and International Law.
At the annual meeting of the AAPL in San Francisco on June 13th through 16th, which was attended by more than 1,500 oil and gas industry personnel throughout the United States, Christiansen provided a litigation update on oil and gas royalty class actions and other recent oil and gas industry lawsuits. At the 3rd Annual Law of Oil and Gas Shale Plays Conference in Fort Worth, Christiansen participated in a panel of industry lawyers from five states, discussing current litigation trends and developments in the major oil and gas jurisdictions.
Christiansen has been a shareholder and director with Crowe & Dunlevy since 1986 and devotes his practice to many aspects of energy and natural resources law and litigation.
