Crowe & Dunlevy Continues Expansion of Banking Practice With Addition of Gary A. Bryant

OKLAHOMA CITY – Crowe & Dunlevy today announced that Gary A. Bryant, former Crowe & Dunlevy attorney and partner at Mock, Schwabe, Waldo, Elder, Reeves & Bryant, has joined the firm’s Oklahoma City office as a director.
“Gary’s experience and abilities fit very well with our current Banking & Financial Institutions practice group; his background and credentials are exactly what clients are looking for,” said Scott Meacham, chair of the firm’s Banking & Financial Institutions practice group.
Bryant’s arrival complements Crowe & Dunlevy’s Banking & Financial Institutions practice group’s expansion. Meacham, former Oklahoma State Treasurer, joined Crowe & Dunlevy in 2011 followed by the acquisition of Day, Edwards, Propester & Christensen, a boutique law firm specializing in banking and securities litigation.
“Gary is an accomplished veteran and a tremendous addition to the firm,” said Kevin Gordon, president of Crowe & Dunlevy. “We welcome him back.”
Bryant has more than 35 years experience and concentrates his practice on commercial banking and litigation for financial institutions. Additionally, he is experienced in commercial real estate finance. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles on consumer credit and commercial law and is a speaker on continuing legal education programs in the areas of consumer credit law, bankruptcy and commercial law.
He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and the Order of the Coif and served as a member of the board of directors of the Young Lawyers Division of the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is a Master Emeritus in the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court and has also been included in The Best Lawyers in America since 1989 and Oklahoma Super Lawyers since 2007.
Bryant received his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Texas and Bachelor of Business Administration with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma.
