A recent survey produced by Law360 legal news found that Crowe & Dunlevy law firm ranks among the top 10 law firms for female partners.
In fall 2011, more than 200 firms shared their partner statistics with Law360, and the group ranked the firms with more than 100 lawyers by percentage of female partners. Crowe & Dunlevy came in at nine on the list with 29 percent of its partners being women.
“At Crowe & Dunlevy, we foster an environment in which women are encouraged to take leadership roles within the firm, as mentors for young lawyers, leaders of our practice groups, and key positions in management,” said Roger Stong, president of the firm.
Crowe & Dunlevy director Brooke Murphy, one of two former women presidents of the firm, notes that the firm provides ample opportunity for men and women to advance to partner positions.
“As the legal profession continues to evolve, women attorneys are continuing to take leadership roles within firms across the U.S.,” Murphy said. “It’s important for young attorneys to seek employment within firms that allow them the opportunity to advance. Crowe & Dunlevy offers an environment in which senior team members are encouraged to mentor associates and help them to grow to leadership positions.”
