Crowe & Dunlevy’s Jo Balding Recognized as Paralegal of the Year
OKLAHOMA CITY – Central Oklahoma Association of Legal Assistants (COALA) recently honored Crowe & Dunlevy’s B. Jo Balding as the 2013 Paralegal of the Year.
“Jo Balding is an active member in COALA and goes above and beyond,” said Eva M. Taylor, president of COALA. “She is the perfect candidate for this award and a standout paralegal.”
Last November, Balding celebrated her 50th anniversary with Crowe & Dunlevy, having worked for the original founders for which the firm is named.
“We congratulate Jo on this well-deserved recognition as Paralegal of the Year,” said Kevin Gordon, president of Crowe & Dunlevy. “Her work ethic and willingness to help others makes her an outstanding recipient for this award.”
COALA began honoring paralegals with this award in 1992. The recipient is nominated by his or her peers and a panel of judges makes the final decision.
In her free time, Balding is involved with charitable activities through several nonprofit sewing and quilting guilds. She makes quilts for soldiers in Afghanistan, wounded soldiers who return to the United States and premature babies at various hospitals.
