The Summer Associate program is a six week long commitment from the middle of May to the end of June. The Summer Associate class usually consists of around 10 to 15 1L and 2L students from law schools in Oklahoma and across the country.
The Summer Associate program consists of a work component and a social component. Summer Associates are paired with two or three attorneys that mentor them throughout the summer. Crowe & Dunlevy is a full service firm, so the options for experience are plentiful. A Summer Associate's work experience is really only limited by his or her imagination and personal initiative to try out different areas. We also provide a variety of out-of-office experiences, such as viewing hearings and trials, attending depositions and client meetings and going to business transaction closings. We want the summer experience to be a microcosm of what it's like to be a full-time attorney.
The social component of the recruiting program consists of weekly social events that are designed to allow the summer associates to get to know Crowe & Dunlevy on a more personal level. From softball games to backyard BBQ's to intimate gatherings at fine restaurants, Summer Associates get to hang out with the Firm's attorneys in settings that allow for personal interaction.
