William Paul selected as an inaugural inductee by OU Law hall of fame
OKLAHOMA CITY – The University of Oklahoma (OU) College of Law recently selected Crowe & Dunlevy attorney William G. Paul as one of four inaugural inductees into the Order of the Owl. The Order of the Owl is a newly established hall of fame which recognizes OU Law graduates who demonstrate leadership and service through outstanding accomplishments in their legal careers.
Paul is of counsel with the firm in its Oklahoma City office. His areas of practice encompass alternative dispute resolution, commercial transactions, corporate governance and trusts and estates law.
A leader in the bar, Paul has served as president of the American, Oklahoma and Oklahoma County Bar Associations, the American Bar Endowment, and the National Conference of Bar President, among other organizations.
Named one of “The Best Lawyers in America for Alternative Dispute Resolution,” Paul is a recipient of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s President’s Award and Lifetime Achievement Award. Paul was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2003 and is a member of the OU Alumni Hall of Fame. Additionally, he was honored by the American Bar Association’s Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession with its Spirit of Excellence Award for his commitment to diversity in the legal profession.
Also inducted into the inaugural Order of the Owl hall of fame will be W. DeVier Pierson, William J. Ross, and Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher. The four inductees will be honored at a dinner scheduled for Nov. 8 at the University of Oklahoma.
