Adam W. Childers, Co-Chair of the Labor & Employment Practice Group, will present “2020 Vision…. What Does the Year Ahead Hold in Store For Employment Law in Oklahoma?” to the Sooner HR Society on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Norman Regional Hospital Education Center.
Attendees will get an advanced look at the many federal and state law employment changes on the horizon in the year 2020. Highlights will include:
- An update on the status of medical marijuana in the workplace and the early days of the judicial interpretation of the “safety-sensitive” exception
- A peek into the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s evolving view of Title VII’s protections for employees based on sexual orientation; and
