In Memory of Marcia Cole

Marcia Dee Cole
June 29, 1957 – September 18, 2024

On September 18, 2024, our dear friend and coworker, Marcia Cole, passed away in Irving, Texas.

Marcia came to Crowe & Dunlevy in 2015 when she and Don Shandy joined the firm. Together, their partnership spanned more than 25 years and they considered themselves as a part of each others family. Marcia became a part of the Crowe & Dunlevy family as well. She loved working for the firm, participated in every event, and was always a joy to be around. Marcia was a trusted confidante who showed a genuine interest in the well-being of her co-workers. She was truly selfless when it came to pitching in and getting the job done. Her uplifting spirit had a positive impact on everyone she touched. Dependable, enthusiastic and always on the ball, she made her attorneys look good. Small, but mighty, Marcia was an exemplary employee who stopped at nothing to get the job done.

She loved music from a young age and performed as part of the Del Aires in high school. Later in life she enjoyed watching countless singing competition TV shows and attending concerts across many genres. She was a born and bred Sooner fan and loved attending football games when possible. She enjoyed playing competitive tennis in her younger years and later in life she would challenge herself by playing tennis against her oldest grandson. She lived for time spent with her grandchildren and could always be found outside or on the floor playing with her grandkids on their level.

Marcia is survived by former spouse Rodney Adams, son Matthew Adams and his wife Leilani Adams, daughters Rachel Adams, Emily Franger and her husband Peter Franger, and Vanessa Cole, grandchildren Ryo Adams, Ethan Adams, Jackson Adams, Rozlynne Franger, Fitz Franger and Pozey Franger.
