Mike McBride III Elected Executive Vice President of International Masters of Gaming Law

Indian Law & Gaming Practice Group chair Mike McBride III was recently elected executive vice president of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL). In this role, McBride will continue his nearly decade-long service on the organization’s executive committee and continue to lead, set policy, administrate and carry out IMGL’s initiatives.

Jimmy K. Goodman Elected Secretary of American Bar Foundation

Litigation attorney Jimmy K. Goodman was recently elected secretary of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). As secretary, Jimmy will help to coordinate and supervise a number of projects for the ABF related to funding and research.

Crowe & Dunlevy and firm attorney Cynda C. Ottaway have been ranked in Band 1, the highest ranking, in international legal publisher Chambers & Partners’ 2018 High Net Worth (HNW) Guide. In Oklahoma, only Crowe & Dunlevy and Ottaway have been consecutively ranked in Band 1 since the inception of the HNW Guide. This year, the firm is one of three firms ranked in Band 1 in the state, and Ottaway is one of three attorneys ranked in Band 1 in private wealth law in Oklahoma.

Benchmark Litigation Selects Two Crowe & Dunlevy Attorneys in 40 & Under Hot List

Crowe & Dunlevy attorneys Christopher M. Staine and Evan G.E. Vincent were named to Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under Hot List 2018 publication, an exclusive ranking of the most talented U.S. litigators 40 years of age or younger. Vincent also appeared in Benchmark Litigation’s 2016 list, the first annual edition to be published, while this is Staine’s first year to be recognized.

Crowe & Dunlevy Honors OU Law Students with Firm’s Diversity Scholars Program Scholarship

University of Oklahoma College of Law students Chloë Coleman and Jimmy Lai were recently named recipients of Crowe & Dunlevy’s Diversity Scholars Program scholarship, an honor awarded to OU Law candidates each year who meet qualifications of academic achievement, financial need and commitment to the law. Each scholarship recipient was awarded $2,000 per semester based on the student’s exemplary progress and performance, for a total commitment of $10,000 per recipient.

Crowe & Dunlevy recently added Andy Szuwalski and Jeremy Berman as directors and Rhonda McGee as a paralegal to its Dallas office. The additions effectively double the number of employees in the recently opened location and add significant intellectual property offerings to clients in Dallas and the region.
