Firm’s Trial Practice seeks to set a higher standard for courtroom advocacy in Oklahoma and the region
OKLAHOMA CITY — Crowe Dunlevy reaffirmed its leadership in high‑stakes litigation with the launch of the Trial Practice Group. Built on more than a century of courtroom tradition, the Group is intentionally designed for one purpose: trying cases to verdict when trial is unavoidable—or strategically essential.
Crowe Dunlevy’s Trial Practice Group is defined by actual courtroom criteria. Membership is comprised of attorneys who have tried multiple cases to verdict and who maintain those skills through ongoing trial‑focused training, mentoring, and leadership inside the firm.
“At a time when most cases resolve before a jury is ever empaneled, true trial experience has become increasingly rare—and increasingly valuable,” said Evan Vincent, a shareholder/director at Crowe Dunlevy and Chair of the firm’s Trial Practice Group. Vincent also observed that, “our firm’s trial practice is built around attorneys with substantial first-chair experience in both jury and bench trials. Litigation involves many forms of advocacy – from motion practice to negotiation – and trial work requires a distinct set of skills developed through time in the courtroom. Our team includes attorneys who regularly lead trials, delivering seasoned judgment, strategic case development, and practical insight to clients facing high-stakes disputes.”
Crowe Dunlevy’s Trial Practice Group brings together a multidisciplinary team of attorneys with deep experience across civil and criminal trials, including: Corporate dissolution and complex commercial disputes; product liability and construction matters; business torts and trade secret litigation; labor and employment cases; antitrust, tax, insurance, energy, and environmental trials; and wrongful death and high‑exposure liability cases.
Group members include Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers, members of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and former federal prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Department of Justice—credentials that underscore the Group’s courtroom credibility.
“Trial advocacy is a unique skillset, not a tagline,” Vincent said. “Our lawyers are prepared to step in as lead trial counsel—even on short notice—because they have done it before, repeatedly, and successfully.”
In addition to serving Crowe Dunlevy’s own clients, the Trial Practice Group is positioned as a trial‑counsel resource for law firms nationwide and around the globe when litigation places clients in Oklahoma courts,” Vincent added. “Crowe Dunlevy offers a proven solution: a full‑service firm with a dedicated trial team that knows Oklahoma courts, Oklahoma juries, and the realities of the courtroom.”
The Trial Practice Group also plays a central role in developing future courtroom advocates, leading internal trial‑skills programs and workshops for attorneys interested in trial work—ensuring that meaningful trial experience remains a defining strength of the firm.
“When the stakes are highest and trial is inevitable, experience matters,” Vincent said. “Crowe Dunlevy’s Trial Practice Group is built for those moments.”
