Guidance Issued for COVID-19 Related OSHA Form 300 Reporting

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently modified the reporting requirements for recording COVID-19-related illnesses where there is ongoing community transmission. The modified reporting requirements do not apply to employers of workers in the healthcare industry, emergency response organizations (e.g., emergency medical, firefighting and law enforcement) and correctional institutions. Employers in those industries must continue to follow OSHA’s standard reporting requirements.
