OSHA Guidance on Respiratory Protection

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently expanded temporary guidance related to enforcement of annual fit-testing requirements under the Respiratory Protection standard. The temporary guidance is intended to address the shortages of N95 filtering facepiece respirators and other similar facepiece respirators due to COVID-19. The initial guidance applied only to healthcare providers. The expanded guidance, however, applies to all workplaces covered by OSHA where there is a required use of respirators. More.
