Drew Cunningham represents clients as a member of the Real Estate and Banking & Financial Institutions Practice Groups in the firm’s Oklahoma City office. His practice involves a range of commercial real estate projects including the acquisition and sale of tenant-occupied property, development of raw land, leasing transactions, land use regulatory matters, and secured financing. Drew routinely represents real estate developers and adds value to their projects by offering comprehensive financial and strategic advice, in addition to drafting and negotiating the underlying transactional documents. Drew has extensive experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, complex commercial leases, credit facility and traditional loan agreements, and construction contracts for large commercial developments.
In addition to working with real estate developers and investors, Drew has also represented clients in a variety of business transactional and litigation matters, including dental and medical practices, small business owners and entrepreneurs. Drew benefits from having a diverse legal background which adds value to each transaction in which he is involved. With a degree in finance, Drew represents real estate developers and investors in connection with structuring partnership agreements and fundraising. Drew also represents lenders in real-estate secured lending transactions.
Drew received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating cum laude. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate. Drew serves as a volunteer attorney for the Trinity Legal Clinic. Outside the office, Drew enjoys running and cooking with his wife, Kelsey, and chasing their two young children.
