Jeremy Berman is a director in the firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. He is a registered patent attorney, focusing his intellectual property practice on electrical, mechanical and software patent applications for clients ranging from large corporate clients to small start-ups.
Within his practice, Jeremy’s knowledge and experience envelopes various technologies including electrical devices, such as analog and digital circuits as well as the fabrication thereof; wired/wireless communications devices and electric motors; computer software-based systems; mechanical devices; electromechanical devices as well as MEMS devices; well logging devices, including nuclear, electromagnetic and NMR well logging tools.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has developed extensive experience in oilfield service technologies, and in the varied business considerations involved in the filing of U.S. and foreign patent applications by corporate clients.
Jeremy has wide-ranging experience in the prosecution of domestic patent applications and all aspects of practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as well as in the direction of the prosecution of international patent applications before numerous foreign patent offices.
Jeremy is also experienced in the preparation and prosecution of domestic trademark applications, as well as the negotiation and drafting of a variety of agreements related to intellectual property.
