John H. YoonAttorney

John Yoon is an associate in the firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Litigation & Trial and Bankruptcy & Creditor’s Rights Practice Groups. John’s practice includes representing individuals and businesses in complex commercial disputes in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts. He also has experience in health, disability, and title insurance matters, as well as labor and employment matters involving Title VII discrimination and wage disputes under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

John joined Crowe & Dunlevy from a litigation boutique firm in Dallas. Previously, John served as an intern to the Honorable Chief Judge Barbara M. G. Lynn and the Honorable Judge Reed C. O’Connor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. John also served as an intern to the Honorable Judge Paula M. Rosales of the Dallas County Court at Law No. 4. In addition to his experiences as a judicial intern, John also served as a law clerk in the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Texas Attorney General, where he assisted with investigations and recommended prosecution of deceptive trade practices.

John is no stranger to hard work. John and his family achieved the American Dream by successfully starting a donut shop after immigrating from South Korea. He brings the same work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit to resolving legal disputes for his clients. John is fluent in Korean and enjoys figuring out his identity crisis (UT vs. A&M) during college football seasons.
