An associate in the firm’s Oklahoma City office, John Stone provides strategic advice to clients in the areas of commercial, employment and insurance litigation. As a member of the Litigation & Trial and Insurance Practice Groups, he represents clients in a wide range of commercial transactions and business litigation matters. He is also experienced in managing large state and federal civil litigation matters involving complex litigation, including coverage disputes, bad faith, breach of contract allegations, employment discrimination cases and business disputes.
John spent the first six years of his legal career practicing in Dallas, TX and recently moved back to Oklahoma City. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he focused on skill teams and mock trial. John successfully competed in several moot court and trial advocacy programs, earning the Order of Solicitors Award for excellence in trial and skills competitions. He also received the American Jurisprudence award in Health Law. While in law school, John served as an intern for the U.S. Department of Labor Office of the Solicitor.
He completed undergrad at the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Pre-Medicine.
