Linda Smith is a dynamic IP paralegal based in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group.

With 14 years of experience in U.S. and international intellectual property prosecution, Linda is adept at guiding attorneys through every stage of IP prosecution. Prior to joining the firm, Linda worked in both the biotech and semiconductor sectors in Southern California, where she excelled in the intricate task of building patent families for mergers and acquisitions, including conducting thorough due diligence on patent portfolios acquired through mergers, asset acquisitions, and joint ventures. Her role extended to assisting attorneys with the post-acquisition integration of patents, managing clients’ patent portfolios, and offering insightful analysis for optimizing patent families and negotiating acquisition deals.

As a former educator credentialed in California and Texas, Linda earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Northridge, and her Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University. Her diverse background and extensive experience make her an invaluable asset to the firm’s IP attorneys and clients.
