Mark Hanna is a paralegal in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and a member of the Aviation & Commercial Space Practice Group.
With more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, Mark supports attorneys with his knowledge in aviation title and finance. He acts as a liaison between the firm’s clients and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and conducts research regarding FAA and International Registry (IR) records. Among his duties, he assists attorneys with document preparation, drafting and management of closing transactions as well as the filing of closing documents with the FAA and IR.
He has a joint role regarding in-house and FAA Public Documents Room procedures. In addition, Mark handles submissions to obtain legal opinions from the FAA counsel’s office for approval of aircraft registrations under a trust and operating agreement, including the filing of Truth-In-Leasing documents with the FAA’s Technical Section.
Mark also liaises with the FAA in ensuring the issuance of temporary certificates of registration (fly-wires) and deregistration telexes for the firm’s clients.
