Nancy Allred Collins is a director in the firm’s Dallas office. Her practice focuses on international, federal, state and local income taxation as well as gift and estate tax planning.
As a member of the firm’s Taxation Practice Group, Nancy counsels both public and private clients on tax issues regarding a wide range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, capital market transactions, cross-border arrangements, and financial products and derivatives.
Nancy regularly advises clients on tax issues relating to the formation, operation, and disposition of business enterprises, including corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, private investment funds and tax-exempt organizations. She has extensive experience advising technology companies, healthcare practices, energy companies, and service providers on international, federal, state and local tax issues.
As a member of the firm’s Private Wealth and Closely-Held Business Practice Group, Nancy discreetly counsels family offices as well as domestic and foreign Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals on asset protection and estate planning strategies including, minimizing gift and estate taxes, preserving multi-generational wealth, succession planning, and liquidity planning.

Nancy received her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and received her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Texas, graduating with Highest Honors.
