Ron Comingdeer is a director based in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and a member of the Corporate & Securities Practice Group. A former Deputy General Counsel of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC), he represents telecommunications and public utility clients before the OCC, the Federal Communications Commission as well as state and federal courts regarding matters impacting regulated and non-regulated information services. Within his profession, Ron has been listed by Best Lawyers in the practice area of Energy Law and has an AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.*
Committed to the development and deployment of telecommunication services in Oklahoma, Ron was inducted into the Oklahoma Telephone Association (OTA) Hall of Fame in 2002, and in 2015, received the OTA’s Bill Barnes Award, given to Oklahomans who have dedicated their work to the enrichment of the telephone industry.
Ron received his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law where he served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Native American Indian Law Students Association. Prior to law school, he attended Bethany Nazarene College, now known as Southern Nazarene University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree while playing collegiate basketball and golf.
