Sarah Simpson is a registered patent attorney at Crowe Dunlevy where she focuses on securing and enforcing patent and trademark rights for clients across a broad range of technological fields, including oil and gas chemistries, medical devices, precision agriculture, and mechanical and industrial devices and processes. With her biochemistry background and hands-on research experience, Sarah brings a scientific lens to her legal practice, making her particularly effective in navigating complex intellectual property matters.
Sarah earned her B.S. in Biochemistry, summa cum laude, from Oklahoma State University, where she conducted departmental research on breast cancer therapeutics. She further honed her research skills as a Lloyd Noble Scholar in Plant Science at the Noble Research Institute. Upon graduation from OSU, Sarah served as the ceremonial “Orange Gown” representative for her graduating class and was recognized as 1 of 15 Outstanding Seniors by the Alumni Association for her academic achievement, community involvement, leadership, and work ethic. Sarah then earned her J.D. with Highest Honors, graduated as a Top 10 Scholar, and received Order of the Coif membership at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she served as President of the Intellectual Property Society and Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. During law school, Sarah gained practical experience in a technology transfer office, and her commitment to innovation continues to be demonstrated by her involvement in AUTM.
