Seth Sloan is an associate in the firm’s Dallas office. A member of the Bankruptcy & Creditor’s Rights, Corporate & Securities and Litigation & Trial Practice Groups, Seth assists companies and individuals in restructuring matters including Chapter 11 reorganizations and bankruptcy related litigation. With experience in business and commercial litigation, he regularly represents clients in matters involving breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud and negligence. He also advises clients on general corporate matters dealing with entity formation, restructuring, asset acquisition and contractual issues.
Seth earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law where he received CALI awards for top performance in Texas Civil Procedure and Negotiations. Prior to law school, he attended Southern Methodist University where he graduated with a degree in Applied Physiology and Sports Management. During his time at SMU, Seth was a recipient of the Hunt Leadership Scholarship, an award given to students who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership skills and academic achievement.
