New Texas Legislation Means Big Changes to Employer Liability for Sexual Harassment

Today, September 1, 2021, Texas’ laws governing employee claims for sexual harassment have undergone some big changes. These new laws will expand employer liability for sexual harassment claims by:

  1. Extending the deadline for employees to bring harassment claims; and
  2. Widening the scope of parties who may be potentially liable to include all employers as well as individual members of management. More.
