OSHA Issues Long-Awaited COVID-19 Vaccine and Testing Rules for Private Employers

This morning, OSHA announced its new COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (Vaccination/Testing ETS) for private employers with 100 or more employees to either ensure that each worker is fully vaccinated or to require weekly COVID-19 testing. The White House had previously announced OSHA would be taking such action, but the details on how such a mandate would work, how employees would be counted and what hoops an employer would have to jump through if not mandating vaccines for all employees were absent until this morning.
