Tort Immunity Extended Under Oklahoma’s COVID-19 Product Protection Act

During the COVID-19 pandemic, manufacturers have been ramping up production to meet the demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies. This includes entities and individuals who do not do so in their normal course of business, companies that are making or donating tests and medications and individuals donating products to help others from contracting COVID-19. With more than 1,500,000 confirmed cases nationwide and more than 90,000 deaths, litigation related to these products is likely to ensue.
