How do I help clients with their environmental regulatory, and litigation needs?

I advise clients on environmental matters and represent them in litigation by providing strategic counsel. Whether I’m evaluating emerging regulatory developments, working toward an early resolution, or preparing for trial, I enjoy navigating complex issues and crafting compelling stories that position clients for favorable outcomes. Clients know they have an advocate in their corner who communicates proactively, anticipates challenges, and remains prepared to pivot when circumstances change.

Helping clients navigate evolving regulations

Alyssa Sloan advises clients on environmental and regulatory matters involving state and federal agencies, including permitting, compliance, and legal disputes. She monitors evolving environmental developments and enforcement priorities, helping clients understand how regulatory changes may impact their businesses while developing practical strategies to successfully navigate the shifting regulatory landscape. Her experience includes matters involving renewable energy projects, water resources, environmental permitting, and emerging contaminants such as PFAS (also known as “forever chemicals”).

Preparing for potential resolutions but remaining ready for the courtroom

Alyssa also supports clients in commercial litigation and arbitration, where she approaches every matter with meticulous attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset. She represents businesses, manufacturers, contractors, and other organizations in commercial, product liability, environmental, and business litigation. Alyssa’s experience includes supporting clients in significant litigation and arbitration matters in Oklahoma and beyond, where relentless preparation and persuasive advocacy are critical to achieving successful outcomes.

Seeing cases from every perspective

While most of Alyssa’s practice involves defending clients, Alyssa has also represented plaintiffs in notable matters. Because she represents both plaintiffs and defendants, Alyssa brings valuable insight into how opposing parties, judges, and decision-makers evaluate cases. She believes that understanding another party’s objectives creates opportunities to negotiate resolutions, while also sharpening litigation strategy and disarming opposing parties when disputes are unavoidable. Whether advocating before a judge, an arbitration panel, or a regulator, she combines assertive representation with effective negotiation skills.

Building lasting client relationships

Alyssa believes strong client service begins with clear communication and intentional collaboration. She proactively communicates with clients and provides guidance to help them navigate both immediate issues and broader implications that may impact their businesses. Clients appreciate knowing they have an attorney who remains responsive, prepared, and committed to protecting their interests every step of the way.
