How do I handle clients' commercial disputes?

I help clients solve difficult business disagreements in ways that make practical and strategic sense for their enterprises. Whether a matter calls for an early resolution, a dispositive motion or a trial, I focus on developing the approach that best advances my client’s goals while providing candid advice, clear communication and confident courtroom advocacy.

Building a practice around complex commercial litigation

Andrew Henry represents businesses in commercial litigation in state and federal courts, providing counsel and advocacy in high-stakes disputes involving contracts, construction, real estate, intellectual property, product liability, unfair competition, trade secrets, insurance and other business matters. A seasoned first-chair trial lawyer, he enjoys tackling cutting-edge legal issues, developing persuasive litigation strategies, and distilling complicated disputes into compelling arguments that resonate with judges, juries and mediators alike.

Serving as a comprehensive advisor to businesses on a wide range of matters

Andrew regularly serves as outside counsel to companies that rely on him not only for litigation, but also for practical guidance on day-to-day legal challenges. By taking the time to understand how each client’s business operates, he helps leadership evaluate risks, weigh costs, resolve disputes efficiently, and determine when aggressive litigation serves their interests—and when a negotiated solution makes better business sense. Clients also benefit from his extensive experience in federal court and his familiarity with courts throughout Oklahoma, giving them insight into local procedures, judicial preferences and litigation strategy.

Leading with preparation, judgment and teamwork

Known for his confident courtroom presence and straightforward communication style, Andrew gives clients honest assessments while developing creative solutions to challenging legal problems. His substantial first-chair trial experience, deep knowledge of civil procedure and ability to frame winning arguments allow him to move comfortably from briefing complex legal issues to arguing motions and trying cases before judges and juries. As the firm’s Recruiting Chair, he also draws upon his knowledge of colleagues—and their strengths—across the firm’s practice areas to assemble multidisciplinary teams that deliver clients the right combination of experience and perspective.

Investing in the profession and the next generation

Andrew’s leadership extends beyond his own practice. Through his role as Recruiting Chair and his service on the executive committee of a leading litigation-focused Inn of Court, he helps mentor younger attorneys while staying current on emerging legal issues and trial techniques. A first-generation college graduate from a small Oklahoma town, he values building genuine relationships with clients from all backgrounds and approaches every matter with the same combination of professionalism, accessibility and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome.
