How do I help clients secure resolutions in their commercial litigation?
I help businesses and individuals resolve disputes by combining careful preparation, clear communication and practical legal strategy. Whether I’m analyzing complex facts, developing persuasive written arguments, or helping clients understand the risks and opportunities before them, I set my sights on providing straightforward guidance that enables informed decisions. Every case presents a unique story, and I enjoy building that narrative through thorough research, thoughtful analysis and strong advocacy.
Conceiving and applying persuasive litigation strategies devise
Micah Fontaine represents clients in commercial litigation, with a particular focus on tort litigation across a wide variety of industries. He also assists clients in transportation matters and other business litigation, working closely with experienced trial lawyers to develop case strategies, prepare pleadings and motions, analyze opposing arguments and build persuasive factual records.
Micah thrives in the dispute-resolution process, where careful preparation and effective communication can shape the outcome. He enjoys mastering the facts of each case, learning the client’s business, and translating complex information into clear, compelling legal arguments.
Communicating with clarity and purpose
Before entering private practice, Micah served for seven years as an officer in the United States Air Force, leading aircraft maintenance operations and managing teams in positions of increasing responsibility. During a deployment to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, he served as a liaison between the United States Armed Forces, the Qatari Emiri Air Force and the Qatari Military Police, developing the communication and leadership skills required to coordinate complex operations across multiple organizations.
That experience continues to shape Micah’s approach to client service. His ability to synthesize technical information, communicate with diverse audiences, and build productive working relationships allows him to serve clients effectively while supporting the broader litigation team.
Preparing for every opportunity
Micah approaches every matter with the mindset that preparation creates opportunity. Whether joining a construction-related dispute aleady in progress or tackling an unfamiliar industry, he immerses himself in the facts and subject matter so he can contribute meaningful insight from the outset. As he continues to build his trial practice, Micah looks forward to expanding his courtroom experience through depositions, hearings and trials while continuing to provide clients with responsive, thoughtful and disciplined representation.
