An experienced trial attorney, Wilson McGarry serves as a director in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group in Oklahoma City. His practice encompasses a broad range of high stakes civil and criminal matters including complex commercial litigation and sensitive investigations for corporate and governmental entities.
Before he joined Crowe & Dunlevy, Wilson served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma for more than ten years where he tried numerous federal jury trials to verdict and argued multiple cases before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. As a federal prosecutor, Wilson investigated and prosecuted a wide range of complex federal crimes including bank fraud, wire fraud, violent crime, and large-scale organized criminal enterprises. He was awarded the 2024 Region 1 Association of Oklahoma Narcotics Enforcers Prosecutor of the Year for his work as lead prosecutor in a large Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) operation that dismantled black-market marijuana organizations throughout Oklahoma. Wilson also managed the Asset Forfeiture Unit and held several roles including the Bank Robbery Coordinator and the Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) Coordinator.
Wilson also served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General where he represented multiple state agencies, members of the state judiciary, and state officials in various civil matters.
Wilson received his juris doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he was named a William J. Holloway Scholar. He received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.
