How do I help employers address workplace conflicts and concerns?

I approach every client relationship as a true partnership rather than a transactional engagement. When companies face workplace disputes, internal crises or high-stakes litigation, they need practical answers, clear direction and someone willing to step into the trenches with them. I work hard to shoulder as much of the burden as possible so clients can stay focused on leading their businesses, supporting their employees, and moving forward with confidence.

Leading clients through the complexities of the work environment

Adam Childers maintains a broad labor and employment practice representing employers in complex litigation, workplace counseling and high-level strategic employment matters across Oklahoma and throughout the country. His practice spans virtually every aspect of employment law affecting the workplace, including matters involving Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, age discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, retaliation claims and workplace investigations, among others. While

Adam devotes a portion of his practice to counseling employers, training management teams and helping clients proactively navigate evolving workplace regulations, the majority of his work centers on litigation and trial advocacy in significant employment disputes.

Handling complicated trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation

In addition to his employment practice, Adam has developed a substantial practice involving non-competition agreements, non-solicitation disputes and trade secret misappropriation matters. These cases frequently require expedited injunction proceedings, emergency hearings and aggressive early-case litigation strategy before traditional discovery even begins. Adam’s willingness and ability to move quickly in high-pressure litigation settings distinguishes him in an area of practice where clients often need immediate action to protect confidential business information, customer relationships and competitive interests.

Delivering pragmatic guidance rooted in business realities

Adam believes employers need more than abstract legal analysis or open-ended issue spotting. Clients frequently turn to him during moments of uncertainty involving competing internal pressures, sensitive personnel decisions or rapidly changing regulatory environments, and they rely on him to provide recommendations grounded in real-world business considerations. He works closely with executives, boards, human resources leaders and in-house counsel to help them evaluate risk, navigate workplace challenges, and implement solutions that are legally sound while remaining operationally realistic. As one client told Chambers USA, “Adam’s keen commercial awareness and vision is reflected by his capacity to offer cost-effective advice and solutions to his clients.”

Approaching litigation as a long-term partnership

For Adam, effective litigation strategy extends well beyond simply defending individual claims. He works to understand each client’s broader organizational goals, workplace culture and operational challenges so legal strategy aligns with long-term business objectives rather than short-term reactive decision-making. Whether handling a discrimination lawsuit, a regulatory investigation or a contentious workplace dispute, he approaches matters with the goal of helping clients emerge stronger, more stable and better positioned moving forward.

Providing a business leader’s perspective to client counseling

As the firm’s president and CEO, Adam brings firsthand executive leadership experience to his clients’ needs. His role leading one of the region’s most prominent law firms gives him daily exposure to many of the same operational, strategic and personnel challenges his clients face within their own organizations. That perspective informs the practical guidance he provides to clients on issues involving growth, employee relations, organizational culture, strategic planning and risk management. Adam believes his experience operating a complex enterprise allows him to counsel clients not only as an attorney, but also as someone who understands the realities and pressures of leadership from the inside.

Combining courtroom strength with collaborative client service

Clients value Adam’s combination of trial experience, responsiveness and collaborative communication style. He translates complicated legal issues into counsel that executives and managers can readily understand and act upon. At the same time, clients know he stays fully prepared to aggressively advocate for their interests when litigation becomes unavoidable. Adam’s practice reflects a balance of pragmatism, strategic judgment and courtroom confidence, allowing him to adapt his approach to the specific dynamics, personalities and stakes involved in each matter; and he always maintains a strong focus on integrity, professionalism and long-term client relationships.
