Now is the Time for Employers to Analyze all Positions Classified as Exempt Under the FLSA

Employers should now be aware that the Department of Labor (DOL) released final regulations raising the salary that white collar employees must earn to be considered exempt from overtime. The new salary of $913 per week ($47,476 per year) is a big change that will have many employers re-evaluating the proper status of their employees currently classified as exempt. More
